21 members and their 15 guests enjoyed a lovely buffet lunch whilst watching some squally hail showers from the magnificent upper floor of the Ashridge clubhouse.
With some trepidation, we all took to the course some from the 10th, others from the 13th expecting the worst of the weather.
However, I think we got away with it relatively unscathed with only one torrential hailstones storm (if you can have torrential hailstones) and a couple of other showers.
The weather conditions produced some mixed scoring, but all enjoyed our traditional visit to this fine venue.
After golf, everyone enjoyed the excellent 3-course meal provided by the Ashridge Chef.
